This is a project we installed for a client in Maineville, Ohio. The owner met with us after first meeting with a few landscape companies to install this project. After starting the project, the owner told us that he decided to hire us because our expertise was much more targeted to outdoor living spaces whereas it seemed like the other companies were jack of all trades. We installed an outdoor kitchen complete with a natural gas grill, bun warmer, storage, ice maker, sink and refrigerator. The fire pit is gas and works similar to gas burning fireplaces that you find inside the house.
The pavers are made by Unilock and they are Beacon Hill Flagstone Sierra. We incorporated an accent with Unilock’s Dark Charcoal Il Campo. All verticals are constructed from Unilock’s Brussels Block Dimensional Sierra. The outside border on the patio is Unilock Brussels Block Half Size Sierra.
I wanted to share with you this beautiful Oklahoma Sandstone that our stone guy took pictures of while visiting the quarry. It’s beautiful and does great in this Ohio climate. It will make a great looking patio or pool deck.
Check out this outdoor living addition we did for the Davenport family in Centerville, Ohio. The family recently moved to Centerville from Texas and really missed the their outdoor living space back home. If you know much about Texas, their outdoor living spaces and outdoor kitchens are sometimes nicer than their indoor ones.
They already had an existing concrete patio and wanted to build off of that. A spot to grill out and a fireplace was very important so we came up with the design below:
The project turned out amazing and we we’re able to complete the project in time for the Davenports to host the neighborhood 4th of July party.
The outdoor fireplace
We constructed the outdoor fireplace similar to the Unilock pre-made fireplaces. We prefer to build our own unique design if at all possible. This also helped cut down on cost and in our opinion our customer received a better fireplace. The Unilock fireplaces are pre-built in Chicago and shipped around to several different destinations, so a large portion of the expense is transportation. We we’re able to use the Unilock fireplace as inspiration and come up with our own design. We and our customer couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.
The custom cedar pergola
We built a custom cedar pergola with the ceiling beams interlocking so that it had a custom feel and would outlast the Ohio elements.
The paver patio
The patio was built using Unilock Brussels Block pavers and Brussels Block Dimensional for the steps, fireplace, and outdoor grill island.

Travertine Pavers
Travertine pavers have become extremely popular in Florida and they are a great choice for your pool deck. If you have travertine pavers, you’ve probably realized they come with some maintenance to keep them looking great.
Although travertine pavers don’t require sealing to keep them from losing their color or from surface deterioration, it is strongly suggested to seal your travertine pavers if they’re around a salt water pool. The salt in salt water pools can cause deterioration in the travertine over time. This can be very costly to fix.
In addition, sealing travertine makes it more difficult for mold to grow in the pores. The Perfect Paver Co also installs polymeric sand in to the joints of travertine, which will keep your pavers from becoming uneven. Empty joints in travertine pavers allow rain water from heavy rains to erode the sand setting bed beneath the pavers. Polymeric sand in the joints will prevent this from happening.

This is a 12,500 sq ft mechanical permeable paver parking stall installation we did in Dublin, OH at the Sawmill Retail Center at the corner of Sawmill Rd and Emerald Parkway.
